Wednesday mornings are pretty cold for cycling in winter, but Wednesday afternoons are a great time to go get your nordic on! Introducing “Wednesday Nordic” brought to you by Mark Flolid and Edward Morey. Wednesday Nordic starts on Wednesday January 28th and will happen each week for six weeks, with the last one on March 4th. Both skate and classic skiing are welcome. The routes will be decided each week by Mark and Edward.
Meet at 3:30 pm at Eldora’s Nordic area base, or join up with a carpool at 2:45pm at the Justice Center on Canyon & 6th. Finish off with Après-SKI at Salto’s in Nederland for beers or appetizers. You will need to have an Eldora Nordic season pass or purchase a day pass. Season pass holders must have signed a waiver to ski after 4pm. Day passes may not be purchased after 3pm and holders are advised that passes are not valid after 4pm.
