WMV Internship Opportunity: Marketing Coordinator

The Wednesday Morning Velo Organizing Committee is looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator (Feb 1, 2020 – Oct 31, 2020) to oversee weekly communications with our members, interactions with sponsors, overhauling of our website, optimizing social media, and managing kit orders. Estimated commitment 10 to 15 hours per week.

Requirements include:
- Experience with website design (currently WordPress)
- Experience with newsletter design (currently MailChimp)
- Cyclist (any level – just have a passion for riding bikes!)
Tasks include:
- Twice-weekly Newsletter (5 hours per week during season)
- Interacting with sponsors for collateral needed for newsletter obtaining logos, bios, images, routes. (2 hours per seek during season)
- Upkeep / refresh of website
- Optimizing use of social media
- Managing kit orders (once per season)
- Potential to grow revenue via creative ad-tech methodologies and strategies
